Our wonderful studio has been around for 3 years and we celebrated this with you! Surrounded by the art of Atilla Bayindir, Joelle Vanderbeke and Thomas Schreiter, the evening was filled with music by Anne Lenk, Vanessa Brix and me. In the afternoon until deep into the night we drew together with the artists as part of the Scribble Clash, while Christian Perle provided entertainment with guitar fingerstyle sounds.

Hirai Masaya from Beppu and Jan Kosyk from Germany started making music together last year. Now – one year later – they have their first joint exhibition with cute paintings by Masaya and political animation films by Jan.
They will also give a full concert at Sempervivum to close the exhibition. It will be a brilliant bouquet of Japanese-German punk rock jazz folk with guitar and piano. As Jan will leave shortly after that concert to Germany, it’s the last chance to see the Beppu Punk Cats for a long time. Stay tuned and come along!

For the second time Hirai Masaya and me played a Wohnzimmerkonzert at the great bar of Tapyasan. These visual gems give a hint of how beautiful it was.
Hirai Masaya and I played a great Wohnzimmer concert. We produced a mix of German and Japanese and sang, drummed and strummed together in the beautiful bar Tapyasan.
I played together with Hiraj Masaya, サイキシミン, 沙摩柯 and FLASHBACK9 at the AT HALL in Ōita. 🥳 It was punky, it was rocky, it was rockabilly and a little bit melancholic. Wonderful!
We made it: After less than two months on our trip called Smörgåsbord, we have our first exhibition and concert in Japan. 🥳 The wonderful Miki from KURUKURU invited us to present our art as part of her Anniversary Festival (together with the GIN & LEMON). Omani Frei will show prints and originals and I’ll perform 30 minutes of piano punk in German. Only in german? Well, I’ll probably play the English version of Autonomia and I’ll also prepare a little surprise. 🙀
I produced an album – with band! \o/ Due to external circumstances we use the 2nd of March to release the album in a small round – with band! 🙂
The Folkpunkfriends from Leipzig got wind of me at the end of last year and have already visited us at Drägg’schen Löffel and lax&lux. Now there’s a small recording session in the Wanne, very small and secret. Admission is free (donation requested), drinks will be served.

Bei der Musik- und Literaturreihe lax&lux – moderiert von Daniel Baierl und Paula Linke – trifft Monat für Monat im Leipziger Osten Ton auf Text, Gesang auf Gespräch. Kritisch-humorvoll, intelligent und trotzdem warmherzig beobachten die Liedermacherin Paula Linke und der Autor Daniel Baierl die Umwelt in ihrer jeweiligen Disziplin. Und jedes Lied und jede Geschichte wird ein kleines Geschenk an das Publikum.

Ich hatte die große Ehre zusammen mit Lona und Phil einen Abend im Ost-Pol im Rahmen des Alternativen Akustikkollektivs zu gestalten. Es war verraucht, es war bierig und es war emotional. Danke dafür!

For the sixth time, Thomas Schreiter invited visitors to the rustic attic at Sebnitzer Straße 6. Once a year, for the Neustadt Art Festival, the small wooden door opens to reveal an art-and-music wonderland. In addition to a small bar with coffee, cake and other amenities, there are three days of art, readings and music in a cosy ambience.
And I was allowed to be part of this wonderland several times. In 2022, there was a livestream from which I cut my songs and placed them on the internet:
Die Piraten Dresden upcyclen regelmäßig ihre Wahlplakate, diesmal für den OB-Kandidaten Dr. Martin Schulte-Wissermann. Dabei durfte ich neben LonA und Tini Bot musikalische Unterstützung liefern.
Endlich ist es soweit!
Monate lang wurde gesungen, gespielt, gezeichnet, gemalt, geschnitten, gebastelt, gerendert… Und nun ist die Zeit gekommen, der Welt zu zeigen, welche zauberhaften Gedanken mit dem Projekt »mp3+4 :: 4 Werke« verwirklicht wurden.
Wo passt es besser, Premieren vorzuführen, als in einer Filmgalerie? Und was wäre eine Premiere von Musikvideos ohne Musik?
Zusammen mit Tini Bot umrahmte ich das Screening live.
Jedes Jahr zum adriAkustik-Festival gibt es auch die Liedermachenliga. Alex entstand dafür, und 2021 zauberte ich Spätverkauf aus dem Hut. 🍻
