This summer, Hirai Masaya is coming to Germany for the first time. Reason enough to go on a short tour of eastern Germany and treat you to some folk-jazz-punk-rock.
Accompanied by guitar and piano, their expressive voices explain why Alex takes the bear’s property away, how to get Nazis out of the house, and why people are more important than borders. And whilst the two of them use my pen to jot down the odd musical note for the audience’s ears, they talk shop about melted ice cream. Just as if they were sitting in the sun having a beer outside the nearest late-night shop.
